About Velvet Sun
Raised on 80s rock, hooked on 90s electronic — he now makes weapons for the dancefloor.
Velvet Sun is the project of Austin-based producer and DJ Dri Molina — dark energy, gritty textures and relentless bounce, built for the peak of the night. He fuses the raw pulse of industrial drums with just enough melody to keep a room locked in.
His Like That EP on Klexos Records hit #1 on the Beatport Tech House chart, followed by the single Freak on T-Tracks Music (Klexos Group) and Go Hard with Randy Perez on Play Records. His records are now in the crates of Tini Gessler and Jay Crusoe.
A member of Cosmic Academy, one of the most respected production schools in the world, Velvet Sun is now locked in the studio — building a catalog aimed at the biggest labels and stages in the game.
